Cheap Trick Equipment Crushed in Storm

We played in an open–side semi trailer this weekend and only suffered sweltering heat and humidity. Cheap Trick had it a bit worse.

Oh damn...I hope some of Rick's iconic guitars didn't get hurt. I bet they did though....

That sucks.

Did ya have a nice crowd at the street dance? Isn't it no fun playing with it's that hot? We did some last year when it was scorching. And to top it off....there were bugs, too, that liked to fly in your mouth when you were singing. We ended up turning the lights around to the crowd. I'm so glad we aren't booked this weekend.

Yeah, it was pretty big for such a tiny town (pop. <600). They weren't that into the music as much as the social drinking, but later on the drunk slutty women were gyrating around on the street. Some danced on stage toward the end and wiggled around Andy and Emily. The heat index didn't get as bad as was forecasted (this is when it's really nice to have LED lights), but it was incredibly humid. By the end of the night there was a medium-thick fog over the town. I'll send you a picture in a minute.
