This is cool on
so many levels.
Watch how they made classic Eames fiberglas chairs in the '60s. Long, but well worth it, especially the part near the end where a guy pours molten aluminum into a thingy and then a press casts the upper and lower bases onto the center support tube. I don't recall seeing them upholstered with leather, or anything else for that matter. I've only seen them in sleek bare fiberglas of assorted colors.
